      That’s probably hard to write since it’s flat and has no tip of the graphite

      You might want to wrap something around that naked lead to protect it and the morals of any minors viewing it.
      Say, some wood?

    3. Just get some contractors pencils from a lumber yard, the fat rectangular ones. They’re designed to be sharpened with a pocket knife if you dont have a sharpener. Like 25 cents each.

    4. You’ll never have to sharpen THIS pencil ever again. You’re definitely gonna have to sharpen the one you use after you break this one

    5. normally we end up wasting 90% or more of the “lead” due to the math around sharpening it to a point/cone.
      Essentially a cone is only 1/3 of the volume of a cylinder., but if you sharpen your pencil when the very point starts getting blunt, you end of eliminating most of it. See the short video
